Tokyo
Airport - Tokyo Narita Airport has two terminals.
Terminal 1 handles mostly US and European airlines'
flights. The second terminal is for Japanese and Asia
Pacific carriers. Both terminals have their own train
station. Getting to and from the airport is rather
simple although time consuming. If your hotel has
a shuttle it is advisable for you to take advantage
of that service. There is a limousine bus and a regular
bus that runs every half an hour. Taxis are available,
but they are pretty expensive. The airport is 40 miles
from the city of Tokyo and it takes 90 minutes, but
huge amounts of traffic can make it take up to three
hours. Be prepared for it to take time to get where
you want to be.
Both terminals have places for eating, shopping and banking. No matter what you need you will find it at this airport. If you forgot to bring something on your trip you will find the assortment of shops will have what you need. Perhaps you need something to eat. You will find your pick of places to dine in at the airport. Inside the airport are also conference and business facilities. (tel: (0)478 300 035). If you need to access the internet you may do so in these business service areas. Information desks are found at both the Arrivals and Departures areas or you may tel: (0)476 322 802) for help.
If you need to contact the airport for any reason
you may do so at Tokyo Narita International
